@caryl is amazing at lifting up people! Hopefully your day is truly blessed and better!
I love it! But ya gotta be able to look fabulous going as well as coming! So he is just trying to practice his exit!
I hate to ask but any more pip activity? I am certainly not going to make any more predictions…….
Heck, I just wish I looked that good from ANY direction!
I’m refusing to look, lol. After checking roughly 423 times yesterday, I’ve tried not checking as much today. At lunch time, there was one more slit on Egg #2 (same egg). Nada and zip for Eggs #1 & #3. I lightly sprinkled them with damp sphagnum and decided not to look again until late tonight.
Well I’m not sayin nuthin!!!
423 times? Huh, no matter you were so busy today! And again I am sorry I bothered you with texts upon texts !!!
No apologies needed. Friends are never a bother, @caron ! Never.
Dang, how did it get to be 2025? I guess the 2023s are officially no longer yearlings now. Hard to believe.
It was in the 50s here yesterday and cloudy ahead of a dive back into winter. I took Taliesin outdoors and got some decent shots. This handsome and unusual dude came from Solar Serpents. He is (we think) Red Factor Lavender Het Amel, Motley, 66% Ph Anery, 50% Ph Diffused, Hypo OR Strawberry. He’s just gorgeous, with really unusual coloring. My hand is in one shot for comparison. Taliesin has a wonderfully sweet, friendly disposition. He’s a big boy, too. Absolutely love this guy. Thanks, Olivia!
Wow! I think he’s even more colorful than his dad. That’s amazing. And he’s so big!
He’s really gorgeous! Yesterday he weighed in at 155 g. I know he’s a youngster, but he may find himself with a girlfriend this Spring. Lol
Taliesin is one of the most beautiful corn snakes I’ve seen! Those colors are unreal.
These two had their pics taken indoors. Ruby Ann is a RF Sunkissed Strawberry from Travis Whisler Reptiles. She was skittish when she arrived in the fall, but has learned that I’m not dangerous. She’s coming along nicely in every way.
Idril is a Green Blotch Aberrant Snow from SnakeSmithS. Not long ago, her ground color was a clean white. Now I’m seeing hints of pale pink. Her yellow-green markings now have a different tint than before, as does her head. Don’t know how well I caught those colors, though. Her brother Haldir is a brightly colored Red Factor Halo Snow. I didn’t think Idril had any of that, but now I’m beginning to wonder. Guess we’ll see. She loves to climb, often resting up on a branch or ledge. She’s a homebody, preferring climbing in her enclosure to getting out and exploring. To Idril, there’s nothing great about the great outdoors.
Agreed! I am really happy to have him.
Great group, Caryl! Love Ruby Ann.
Maaaaan okay yep I absolutely need a corn someday, I’m sold!
You guys are such a bad (excellent) influence
Thanks! I really like her, too. I saw her ad between purchase and shipment for another I got from them. Very happy I had her added to the box.
YES! Yes you do, yes we are. Just YES!!!
I am so ridiculously excited for my first snake (whatever I chose) and getting to share that adventure with all of you!!!
I’m gonna slide Peredur in here with the 2023s, though technically he hatched in late November 2022. He came from Snakes at Sunset. The breeder only tagged him as Orchid, but I think he’s also Tessera. I know that both Lavender and Sunkissed affect pattern, but I haven’t seen another Orchid with anything like Peredur’s markings. Gotta be Tessera, right? Always on the go, exceedingly hard to photograph, outdoor photo sessions with this guy are always a series of blurs . I hope that Peredur will become a father this year.
I know where you can get one!
Lovely lovely lovely Caryl! I don’t know how you get anything done besides admire all these amazing animals all day long!
They’re all gorgeous! I love Idril’s aberrant pattern! As a newbie, I always wonder what they’re going to look like grown and it helps to see an example. Adding an aberrant something to my list of future hopefuls
