Unfortunate times

So just a few minutes ago i get home and go to feed one of my leos and as soon as I put the mealworms in the dish she usually comes out real fast for them but today wasn’t that. Before I lifted up the hide I knew something was wrong since she has a really high feeding response. So as I lifted up her hide I find that one of my very first reptile has passed. Im still trying to cope with this since I’ve had her since I was only 8 years old. Im unsure of the reason because her temps were all on point, Hot spot was at 86 and her cold side was on 77. Was on paper towel with filled water bowl.

This was on of my very few pics of her

May you Rest in peace Godzilla…

I’m very sorry to hear this. May she rest in peace. I hope you find out what happened and why the gecko passed.

Sorry for your loss :pensive:

That’s terrible! I’m so sorry to hear that, if you refrigerate (not freeze) the body you should be able to get a necropsy done.
