This is an Eastern Fence Lizard we found back in the spring. It hung out with us for a couple of hours and didn’t try to run away at all. It seemed to enjoy the attention. It even tolerated my daughter who was 3 1/2 at the time.

When I was in college I had about 5 of these dudes living in a tank. They get used to being handled pretty quickly and definitely understand where the crickets come from. Really awesome little lizards.

Cool! Thats another neat species I can feed my inner zoologist about. Thanks for sharing
