Hello, I know the albino stands are almost impossible to tell apart without knowing the parents. A friend gave me two adult geckos. They had already laid eggs for them, and she laid two more with me. The parents must both be het for albino as the babies come out. I was hoping to get some insight into these two babies. One hatched out very yellow with bright red eyes, whereas the second hatched out with dark eyes but still very light. I have just never seen one with the red eyes and one without coming from the same parents.
The parents as far as I’m aware are Bold Stripe x super hypo tangerine.

It looks like one of your adults is also snow. Once they start growing they can start getting more yellow so it can be difficult to ID in adults without a knowledge of their background. But that’s why one is so pale.
I would actually like to see photos of the adults too if you could. Either the odds were amazing and in your favor or the super hypo may actually be albino and the bold stripe is het.
Still won’t be able to tell you the strain though.

Oh wow! You really did win the genetic lotto. Hahah.
There was a 1/4 chance to get an albino out of each egg and you got two. Because both parents are het, unfortunately that means you won’t be able to tell what non-albino offspring are carrying the albino gene, so they would be ‘possible het’ or sometimes you’ll see them listed as ‘66% het’ because the other 3/4 would all look the same.
Mom looks pretty pale yellow. I really like how that plays with her bold markings. I do think she’s where the snow gene is from because she’s not as bright yellow as some other Bolds.
Congrats again on the awesome odds.
Thank you so much! I had not even considered her having snow in her. Thank you I appreciate all the feedback!! I’ll definitely post photos of the babies as they start to grow up and change.
