You are going to need the help of our Leo people! @erie-herps and @mblaney be summoned
Welcome to the community!
I kinda want to guess just for fun since I’m no pro at morphs. Lol
First one - what color are it’s eyes? It kinda looks like a Murphys patternless?
Second one - looks like a normal to me.
Don’t take my answers and run with them. I’m just guessing for fun, wait for the real deals to come and give you their best judgment.
Where did you get them from? I noticed the deli cup looks like the ones from chain pet stores. If so, there’s really no telling what your babies are just by appearance unfortunately. (If I’m correct). They’re still cute though!!!
To me it looks like the first is a super snow albino (clearer pictures and pictures of the eyes would help).
The second one looks like a normal to me.
If you did get them from a chain pet store do you want us to check their husbandry (speaking from experience chain pets stores don’t have very good husbandry advice, totally up to you if you want us to check or not).
Welcome to the forum!
I’m with @erie-herps - the first looks like a Super Snow and most likely an albino- there could be other stuff at play as well (like W & Y), but it’s tough to say. Eye pics (clear & of both eyes) and waiting until it’s older should help.
The second looks like an Aberrant Normal, but there’s so much speckling that I wouldn’t be shocked if there was Mack Snow (heterozygous) or maybe Eclipse going on as well. Eye pics might help tell if it’s an Eclipse. Legit gorgeous- I love heavy speckling, it’s so special!
I agree with this - when from a background of unclear genetics, you’re making a solely phenotypic assessment, which basically means guessing based on what it looks like. You don’t really know for sure what genetics it has.
Thanks guys! I did get them from a pet store so I okie we wouldn’t be able to know for sure, but I appreciate any guesses. Don’t albinos have red eyes? Her eyes aren’t red so I had filled that out myself. I’ll see if I can get clearer pics in the next couple days!
Also I’ve done a lot of research on husbandry, and also joined a leopard gecko group on FB so I think I should be good on that front
