I’m looking for a smaller, arid snake species, preferably at most 3 feet long. Any recommendations? Temperament is not a factor for me. Also, nothing to impossible to care for, and I already keep hognoses so and am getting more, so I don’t need suggestions for hognoses.
Rosy Boas fit the requirements for arid range and smaller size.

Great idea! Totally something I’ll consider.
Arizona mountain kingsnakes. Arid snakes and cooler temperature snakes that do good at room temps. Great display snakes too. Rarely get longer than 3 feet and are at max 4 feet.

Another great option.
Kenyan Sand Boas are in my opinion the best small arid snake, with Rough-Scaled Sand Boas being a very similar but less common species. Both are super easy to care for and have great temperaments.
