I use stick on Velcro with one side of the stick left on. I have never had an issue with it and neither boa I have hurt it in anyway. This way it allows you to have the probe so you get a better idea of ambient humidity. The snake will normally be curious of the wires for a day or two but then lose interest.
I just attached a suction cup to it and stuck the cup to the inside of the tub lid, with the probe dangling down about an inch or so into the tub. It’s just a little easier to position with the suction cup. I already had the extra suction cups, so it works.
I love how Willow is weaving herself through the wires, haha. Too cute!
She did it just once, and now she doesn’t even look at it. Kai didn’t even touch his lol .
Not trying to be a smart-ass at all but isn’t it called a hygrometer. I’ve never heard of a hydrometer. What is the difference?
Yeah…
Hydrometer is used to measure gravity and density. Hygrometer is technically what you would use to measure humidity…
If you put a hydrometer in a terrarium you wouldn’t be able to do much with it lol.
You’re correct, it’s called a hygrometer. Mea culpa.
