@caron Thank you! I feel lucky, because I’ve heard these guys can have an attitude but she’s as pretty as she is sweet!
@tommccarthy I noticed that as well on her, she has some salmon pink tones along her dorsal. She’s not from maxx pink lineage afaik, so I’m curious to see if she retains it as she grows or if it goes away over time!

A couple more, since I’m going through to do maintenance with the smaller boas today;
Crüe has yet to shed for me and still looks bright as ever, so I’m excited to see what he looks like sporting a fresh set of scales!
And Tiki here actually shed about a month ago, I didn’t notice until looking back at a picture from April that he gained a good bit of dark pigment on his head this last shed!

Elijah you already know I love Crüe but I really like Tiki’s looks alot. Plus that killer tail stripe fantastic.

Thanks, Tom! And yeah, Tiki is coming along quite nicely I think - I really like the way his colors almost highlight and outline his head stamp against the developing darkness from the IMG. His tail striping is pretty awesome, too - I like how it chains together and you can see where it would separate if it didn’t connect! Curious to see how much of it the IMG will overtake down the line.

Here is Rose my special needs boa. I produce her in 2013 so she is 13 years old now. When she was 5 years old I notice a lump on her spine. I assumed she had a tumor and my vet did exploratory surgery but didn’t find anything.
Well in the next few years the lump got bigger. And I assumed she did have a tumor. I have had boas and pythons over the years die from tumors. So I knew there was not much that could be done. So I figured when she got in bad shape I would put her down.
Now skip a few years a head and she developed more lumps but for the most part she was in good shape as she was not sick at all. I had a X-ray done and it showed she had Scoliosis very bad. Her spine had a lot of kinks in it. When she was a baby and up till 5 years old she was fine and showed no kinks and moved fine.
Now a days I only interact with her on feeding and cleaning day. She eats and poops fine and moves around a little. She doesn’t seem to be in pain at all when I move her. She doesn’t hold on to me very good and she will fall off me or the tables if she is on one. However she does constrictor her FT rats every time she eats.
Today I took her out in the heat and sun on the deck and she seemed to like it. She was following me around on the deck and would come up to me as to say HI. She is very tame and has never shows aggression towards me. So until she seems to be in a lot of pain I will not put her down. Rose is over 7 feet long and 30+ lbs. now.
So she is just a family pet and lives a pampered life here with me.

What a gorgeous girl, Tom! She has the sweetest face. Those xray images are fascinating, it’s good that her kinks don’t seem to be causing her any pain. She couldn’t ask for a better forever home. She’s the same age as my boy Jethro, he was my first boa and snake in general. Thanks for sharing her with us!

Roan shed for me last night, so we did a little photo shoot! I’m not sure why, but my camera hates trying to focus on her face unless it’s in video mode.

I know what you mean about bright sunlight. When I take albinos out I try and keep them in the shade if it sunny out. But most of the time I take them out when it’s overcast outside.
Also nice looking albino. What genetics are in that one?

Hypo blood and vpi ( pastel ) looks pink panther could be something else
Seems to be het blood but theres allot of red already probably from the pastel and the hypo
Probably wont brown out cause of the blood altho it will caramel from the vpi …so a really het bloody super hypo vpi ?

Can’t wait to watch her grow, here’s hoping she’ll be ready to pair with Tiki either 2029 or 2030! They should have some stunning babies.

Holy smokes Elijah! She’s beautiful. I can’t wait for my little RR/RP vpi het blood to color up some more. He shed the other day but I haven’t had a chance to get any updated pics.
I’ve been up to my eye balls in baby bull snakes with black pines due to hatch any day now, and another clutch of bulls due next week.

Just as gorgeous as I remember them! That coral is no joke, absolutely packed with color. And the stripe on that jungle is utterly stunning, really love how it connects from headstamp all the way down!
