I recently paired my ball pythons Tuesday night to breed (the male was put in the females cage). I cannot tell if the male (the super pastel yellow belly) is breeding or just dominating the female. If they are locked I don’t want to remove him from the cage but if they are not I’ll remove and try again later!
Looks like he might be trying to court her
He’s been pressing his belly against her since Tuesday night but Phoebe is not having it!
Should I still remove him tonight if they aren’t locked and try again in a couple of days?
Give it a few days. I pair Tues-Thurs with my animals and just check twice daily to look for locks. Some weeks they do, some weeks they do not
