Finally!
I just woke up and checked on Mango through the camera, I see 3, maybe 4 eggs and she looks like she’s nowhere near done.
I will post an update when she’s done!
Let’s see who can get the closest guess on how many eggs she will lay

Woohoo Christina! Gotta keep those eggs movin! Since 9 & 10 are taken I guess I will say 8, even though I’m hoping for you it’s 11!

Since it was 8 last year, I’m going with 9 or 10
Her last two clutches were late in the year too, so I think that’s just how her biological clock works

Welp she finished up laying a few hours ago, gave her some time to settle after all of that hard work.
Poor girl is so skinny now, all of her heft went to her eggs, hopefully I can get some weight back in her soon. Her eggs are massive.
I took a count before putting them in the incubator…
And we got 9! However… that one egg with the questions mark looked very off when I candled it so I do not have high hopes for it, there were no veins, and weird blobs on the inside despite looking like a perfect egg from the outside. It also was not stuck to the rest of the clutch so we’ll see… incubate till there’s no debate!
Now to start the clock until pippies!

She’s getting a spa treatment now to help rehydrate and get the egg smell off.
Hopefully I can get her to take a meal tomorrow and get her on track to gaining weight back- she was incredibly deflated.

Update:
I re-candled the “?” egg again.
The day they were laid I thoroughly looked at the egg after seeing it looked strange on the inside and did not see any signs of it being viable.
Well this morning when I looked I saw what appeared to be an embryo spot with a tiny red ring at the side of the egg… perhaps this egg may have a chance after all… I’m still not too hopeful though considering how developed the other eggs appeared.
Interestingly this “?” egg is the largest of the batch too.
