Hey guys, I paired one of my females on March 4th, 6th, and 11th. Is their any need to go for more locks or should she be good to go?
I typically shoot for five locks, but if the pair is no longer interested after three, that’s fine too.
Well, he is set to be paired with three females in total this season and I don’t want to stretch him too thin and have it affect fertility. Is pairing him to three females too many?
Three is probably the max I would pair him to to still maintain a decent level of fertility and still be able to hit all of the females’ windows of receptivity. Ideally he would get at least a few days break between breedings.
Ok, thank you.
