Day gecko with nose injury/issue

Day geckos a generally a look and never consider touching kind of animal. Do you have her in an enclosure with screen? If so, maybe make it so she can’t touch the screen? That is usually where a lot of nose rubs come from. Try removing anything hard and abrasive from the enclosure as well.

It’s an exo terra so it only has screen on the top. I don’t believe it would be causing an issue, I’ve never seen her really hang up on the top there. I have natural wood/cork bark in there, but it would remove a lot of her cover and I feel that might do more harm than good. And even so I know she is rubbing on the glass.

She is likely rubbing on the glass since it doesn’t make any sense for her to rub on decorations (but I could be wrong).
They are a look, no touch animal. However as long as one could be coaxed into a deli cup they could still go to the vet. A vet would be able to do a lot more if they were able to see the gecko instead of hearing about it and seeing pictures.
