Dented eggs but they look good

Hey guys, my Leo laid a clutch 5 days ago and they went straight to the incubator, the eggs are starting to dent but temp is 85 and humidity is 92, the red bullseye is growing which is good but anyone have any insight as to why the eggs may be denting?

Typically that’s going to be from dehydration. You may have a little too much airflow happening in the incubator If your humidity measurement is accurate. What are you using to measure humidity?

If the red bullseye is growing when you’re looking at them by eye… That sounds a bit more like an infertile egg to me. But I would still keep it in there just in case.

I agree with it sounding like a humidity issue for the denting though. More info on the incubator and setup can help us pinpoint it

I have the incubator measuring the whole unit that is measuring 46 and a separate hydrometer inside with the eggs that’s measuring 92%

There’s another clutch in there and they are fine

It’s the foam reptibator, there’s another clutch in there and they are fine. When I candle the eggs the veins and red bullseye is growing as it should

@ballornothing you were spot on, it was the airflow, there was a pinhole air hole right above the eggs, I moved them and they are plump again. Thank you
