I was looking for hognose snake from long time and I live in India , in india I was not able to find hognose snake, and some normal snakes were overlay priced , so I came on morphmarket and found hognose here which I’m thinking about buying it but don’t know the export procedure and how this trade will work , anyone can help me with this

Unfortunately, I suspect there are no other users from India on the forum so I am not sure anyone can give you anything other than the most general of advice
My suggestion would be to see if you can connect with other snake keepers/breeders in your area and through them find out if anyone has done importing before. Another alternative might be to talk with zoos or veterinarians, but they can occasionally be standoff-ish when dealing with people they view as “non-professionals” You could also try contacting whatever organization you have that operates like the US versions of Fish and Wildlife or Department of Agriculture. These organizations are often responsible for any permitting you would need so they might be able to point you in the right direction

Welcome to the community! I would go to morphmarket.com into the hognose snakes for sale. Click on an advertisement for several different sellers. Within the ad they list the countries they export to. I did a quick search and saw at least 2 sellers that specifically mention that they export to India. I am not sure if posting the sellers’ information violates this forum’s guidelines, so feel free to message me if you need some help finding those sellers’ advertisements. They may be able to let you know if you are able to import hognoses and whether or not you would need a permit. From searching the internet, I was unable to find this specific information about importing hognose snakes. I hope you are able to find the information you are searching for.
One other way you can try is contacting international reptile shipping companies to ask your questions. Try contacting DDI, or Northern Lights. I saw a listing that exports to India and it mentions these reptile exporters.
