What a beautiful collection. Hesparis is my favorite
She’s actually my favorite snake, both for looks, and because I’ve owned her for 10 years.
I love the black and white because of the contrast. In what direction are you talking your breeding plans? I really like the Maxx pink stuff, but I think that everyone likes that lol.
Maxx Pink are cool, but I don’t have the space or the money. There was a time when I could choose between working with Maxx Pink or T+ Albino, and I chose the Albinos. As for where I’m going with my Argentine group, I intend to continue to produced pure OS animals, and in the Future I intend to breed T+ Albino and to produce hets by crossing T+ x OS. I could see possibly adding Motley into the mix, but Motley Argentines are very rare, so we’ll see if I get the opportunity.
What does OS mean? Never been a fan of the maxx pink to be honest. A nice crisp contrast is hard to beat IMO
OS stands for Ophiological Services, the company name of Eugene Bessette, the breeder who founded this lineage. He purchased a pair of animals from the only ever legal importation of BCO (back in 1987) and this line is descended from them.
Thank you for the info. Sounds like the perfect Argentine for the collection.
Looking really good! It’s so exciting to see one of my babies growing up.
