Feeding Techniques

Alright guys, I tried the scenting and feeding in the enclosure. He still did not eat after having the mouse in the enclosure all night. Now should I try braining or just go straight to a live pinky instead? And if live route, the place that has live atm said the pinkies they currently have, have some fuzz on them but only slightly bigger than a non fuzz pinky. Will it be too big for my Apache, or should he be able to eat it? Most recent pic of him for size reference below.

I would go ahead with the size they have because I am sure he won’t have any problems with it and he needs to eat……

Let us know what happens…….:blush:

Hooray @aliohara15! You might need to feed him a few more live to get something in his belly and then attempt ft. The goal is to put some calories in him no matter how you have to do it…… :skull::ghost::jack_o_lantern:

I’m in a similar spot with one of my sand boas. I bought her as established eating f/t, but she wouldn’t eat for me. I eventually got a live pinky which she ate, but now I’m struggling to get her to eat frozen. I tried all of the methods mentioned above (except scenting) and more, none of which worked.
