Found a water snake at a river! ^^

I put this under colubrids because i think this species is a colubrid XD-- I found this little water snake at a river in Maine about 2 days ago! I was wondering if anyone knew the exact species? ^v^

from the dark pattern and thick bands I’d guess an Juvenile northern water snake, also I’m pretty sure maine only has one true water snake and that is the northern water snake. his eyes are blue so i’d also think he’s in blue/shedding his skin. Hope this helps
