Good luck with her! It definitely sounds like it was a one time thing, so hopefully it won’t be an issue from here on. Sounds like what you’ve been doing has been working out well!

I don’t see a huge difference, but she does seem to have dropped some weight since you got her. Marginally so, but she’s at the size I am considering moving to weaned rats and she’s still getting small mice, so it’s to be expected. With her history of regurges, and possibly being super jungle (though not as likely as I thought before it seems) I wouldn’t be quick to bump her prey size. Is her breeder at all talkative to be able to get some insight on how they were feeding her? I would assume slowly bumping the sizes to see if she can start to handle bigger prey might be a good idea, but I honestly have little experience with sensitive boas like that so would ask those more experienced. I have a few I have worked with as far as rapid weight loss and impaction, but not much as far as regurging.

Omg he is stunning! The yellows contrasting the grays is just phenomenal.

I think hot off the press works! She’s really nice, I bet you need sunglasses when you take her out. Looove, love that close up really showing all that spotty blushing in her scales and those stunning red eyes.

Freshly shed Rusty Black (Eastern) Rat Snake. His belly is a gorgeous caramel color right now. Rats are really cool snakes. They are usually out and about or at least watching what is going on around them. Unfortunately it’s difficult for me to get great pics as Rusty is a squiggly wiggly!

He’s in blue at the moment, hahah so he’ll have a chance for a photo op soon.

@eorr53 he’s so beautiful. That close up profile makes him look like a great ref for a wyrm or dragon.

@armiyana Thanks! Every time I lift the hide to check on her I am blown away.

I don’t think she’s necessarily dropped weight as she’s definitely grown since I got her, though I’d agree it looks a bit like her length is outpacing her width. Tonight is feeding night for her and I still have another month’s worth of the small mouse feeders to go through, once I’m finished with them I’ll look into grabbing some a size up and see if she can handle those. As it is, the other yearlings look ready to go up a size as well. I’ll ofc order more small mice too though since my kings are currently chowing on those, so in the unlikely event she doesn’t seem to handle it well I can go back down for her!

TYSM! I feel like the camera really dulls him out, he almost has this greenish hue to him in person!

Looks like I was mistaken on the timing for these first sheds. The newly hatched bulls have begun shedding. It’s almost like they’re hatching for a second time because they look so different post shed.

Two ghosts:

Red het Hypo

Hypo Albino “Hybino”

Hypo (Trumbower). These will change in appearance pretty drastically as they mature.

They are all simply wonderful! I don’t know how you’re going to choose holdbacks.

@caryl Well it’s actually quite simple you see, I’ll just keep them all! :joy:

That first ghost and the hybino.

Yeah the ghosts are going to be really nice. They look like their daddy.

This one is darker than the rest.

Snow in July anyone?

Keeping them all is a solution I fully admire! (I have gone nearly that route more than once. Lol)

Old man officially turned 13 years old this month and shed for me a few days ago! He was digesting a meal though, so I waited a few to take him out for some pics (and clean up the gnarly poo he left me this morning). His iridescence is honestly off the charts and could make a rainbow boa green with envy!

Jethro’s 13th anniversary of his gotcha day is actually just a month away as well, coming August 11th. He’s my oldest pet and the one that has been with me the longest. This guy holds such a special place in my heart, having been one of the only consistent things in my life over the last decade. Here’s hoping for at least another with him! I really hope that when Anri is ready to breed hopefully in 2028 or 2029 that he’ll manage to get the job done, as I sincerely want to have one of his offspring to carry on his bloodline. What can I say, I’m a sentimental guy! :joy:

Ignore me fumbling over my words lmao.
