Welcome back! I’ve read some of your posts, you post some good stuff. Hope you have a good re-entry into the community  we haven’t spoken before, so let me introduce myself. I have three reptiles(a male scaleless head het pied ball python, a blackjack line crested gecko and an anaconda het snow hognose), I am fairly active on the community, I joined at the beginning of the summer this year, and my keeping philosophy is,“If you can’t look at your reptiles enclosure and think, wow, that’s beautiful, then what’s the point of keeping reptiles at all?” Basically, I just like to keep my reptiles in the most natural way possible as opposed to using racks or barebones enclosures.

Hi @jrc_retics! Long time no see. Definitely can’t wait to see you around more. A lot has changed with me since the last time you were here. Probably the biggest thing is that I got my first female growup, she is an anery sterling boa. I hope that you are doing good.

Thanks for the welcome back. And nice to meet you as well. I like your philosophy, natural enclosures are an art and somewhat undervalued in the breeding hobby. If you can devote the needed time for upkeep with them, and have the space to accommodate them, it’s a great way to keep your animals. But I do like racks, and prefer racks especially for ball pythons. No one way is correct. As long as your animal is thriving, healthy and you’re happy in what you are doing, you’re on the ugly track for being a successful keeper.

Hey Riley, good to see you bud. Glad to hear you’re doing well and added another boa to your collection. I hope Kai is doing well too. Good to talk with you again man. And I’m doing very well, thanks for asking bro.

Yes, that is why my future business name is Living Art Herpetoculture. I do also kinda agree with the rack thing, because I do plan to keep my hognoses in racks, but overall, I tend to go display enclosure.

I plan to the type of enclosures I have now, and make sure to make them enriching. I probably will use racks for my neonates. But they will not be bare!

Yes, I am not 100% against racks, I believe they serve an important purpose, I just choose to keep my reptiles more naturally, at least for most species. I will also keep my babies in racks.
