Hey there everyone. So I’ve recently taken in a ball python who has been passed through two families and I’m having a hard time figuring out what mutation he might be. The original owners knew nothing about different classes of genetic coloring nor did the last family but I’m stumped here. Any advice?! The first picture depicts his coloring the best he’s very yellow orange in clear light.

Looks like a pastel to me.

It’s a pastel, the fact that it still has a lot of yellow means it is from a good line

Nice looking pastel most would be browned out at this age. Nice yellows on him or her.

Thank you so much his age is unknown but definitely middle aged. He’s been through some stuff but is a well mannered being!

That big boy is very handsome! Definitely pastel. Nice example with strong yellow for his age and the classic blushed banding you see on a lot of pastels. I like his little neck spot too.
