Help with ball python

I’m hoping so as well with answers I’m racking my brain wondering if it was a bad rat or what went wrong he was soooo healthy then boom

I completely understand, its always hard when things go wrong so suddenly after being ok and end in loss :frowning:

I lost a female Kingsnake to that kind of situation (infertile egg binding).

I’m really struggling after getting his fecal results he had some sort of bacterial infections he was positive for 3 bacteria I feel it could have been fixed if they would have listened to me the first time I brought him in back in January :pensive_face:

Here’s his necropsy report upset but glad he’s not in pain anymore

Oh there was a few things going on with your boy :frowning:

I’m so sorry, don’t beat yourself up over any of these findings though- you did what you needed to by getting him to the vet, despite everything that was wrong. Snakes hide these things very well until they can’t anymore unfortunately, and I don’t really believe anything you did directly resulted in those findings…

I hope you at least get some clarity and be able to move forward a little easier now.

The vet said that it wasn’t anything I did he doesn’t believe I only had him since September 2025 but I do feel a little bit better having some actual answers now
