I’m so sorry. You did what you could for her, and sometimes things just happen with animals and we can’t make it better- I wish you comfort, and know you did the right things.

Alright, when she arrived at the emergency of a specialist vet clinic they assumed it could come from a burn and suggested to change heating lamps. I can’t confirm that this was 100% the cause. After that they tried to drain what’s inside, which at first seemed to have done it and she looked okay when they brought her back but right after that she seemed to worsen, mouth open, barely moving. The vet took her again and suggested another operation which even then wouldn’t guarantee her well being.

I’m not sure if what they did was the right procedure or if they should have checked her up closer.
I hope that this can be of help for other snake owners at least.
We’re thinking about burying her under a plant.

Again, my deepest sympathy for all you’ve been through. It’s so clear how much you cared about your snake. You certainly did you best to get her the care she needed. I think burying her near a plant is a lovely thought. Whatever you do decide, please know that we care about you. I am praying for you.
