Help with ID

I need help Identifying this clutch. The paring is a Banana/Black Pastel/Pastel X Normal. The below pics are the males from the clutch. The banana morph is new to me so any input is appreciated.
Thanks, Jesse

Banana pastels and a black pastel

I feel like there are at least 2 Combos on the bananas…this photo shows the difference.

Both look like pastel bananas to me. Consider than Banana is just a ‘color filter’ and the natural variety of any gene it’s paired with is going to lead to a variety of looks. Normal bananas are one of the most variable simple mutations out there for that reason.

For reference I’ve produced many banana pastels a few banana black pewters (banana black pastel pastel) and just last week a banana silver streak (banana super pastel black pastel). The only other banana black pastel combos I have or have made have had other genes in them but if you google a banana black pastel you’ll see how intense the purple on them is and I just don’t see it here.

Thanks for your input.

In your experience does the pastel lighten the banana or bring in a deeper purple? My feeling is I have 2 pastel bananas and 2 bananas and I am guessing the lighter ones (more white, less purple, and more gold) are the pastel bananas. Thanks again.

They all look like pastel bananas. That whitish sidewalls are one indicator (although I’ve made pastel bananas without any white), the darker purple stripe above the yellow eye stripes with the whitish purple head is another. I also don’t see any of the orange spotches or the pattern variation that normal bananas tend to have.

Thanks. I have one more clutch to go for the season.
