Parents were Yellow Belly Pied x Banana Pied
Haven’t worked with the yellow belly mixed with banana so definitely unsure on those.
Gorgeous clutch!
That is a great looking clutch! I love number 5! As for yb id in pieds, especially banana I can not give you a guarantee on my guesses, I do have a lot of pied stuff but no yb pied so hopefully someone with some hands on experience can help verify. For me I think 4 is because of the incredible orange blushes and bursts coming up from the bottom as well as the extra wacky blurred sides. 5 for the same wackyness on the sides as well as those crazy orange lines coming out of nowhere. I suspect 3 as well because of the overall brightness of the colors, but with 2 and 3 I am not very confident. Sorry couldn’t be better help. Really nice clutch though, that number 5 is outstanding!
None of the non-banana pieds are yellowbellies, and I’m not sure any of the banana pieds have it either. Can you please post a photograph of your sire yellowbelly pied just so we can confirm it? Yellowbelly pieds tend to have jagged, abrupt, pixelated edging to their pattern, as seen in the male below I produced this year. Their contrast is also slightly different.
I don’t believe the sire has yellowbelly, he looks normal pied to me and I don’t see any of the standard pixelation or the lightening of color. I do agree with the above that none of the non-bananas have yellowbelly, but since I’m not seeing it in the sire, it’s unlikely any of the bananas have it either.
That is what I was thinking too, but some of them do have orangish bellies, and some do have the flaming that wraps into the belly. That and the crazy pattern was throwing me off.
This is a yellow belly banana pied that Wilbanks has up and mine look spot on similar which is why I was unsure of what they truly were.
Beautiful photos!
