I have paired my ball and have seen a visual lock twice. I can feel lumps in her and today I saw her wrapping around her water bowl. Do I need to keep pairing? Or is it the waiting game now? I did offer her food a week ago and she took it.

If you haven’t see an ovulation and she’s not heat seeking, you can pair them again.

Here is a more in-depth guide I loosely follow, I just ignore the dates since my pairings happen at different times of the year to offset the amount of babies I get at a time. It gives a general idea of what to expect in the female’s behavior pattern.
This is another good one.
I’d definitely keep pairing 1-2x a month until you either see the female enter ovulation or she begins to refuse food. Keep an eye out for a shed once she starts refusing to eat or after ovy and mark that date down, 20-30 days afterward you should get eggs.

Thank you! This helps alot!! I had had a clutch with her before but I was very hands off and it happened. The last time I tried being more hands on I didn’t produce anything that year. She has now moved to the hot side and she is curled. Refused food this go around which is unlike her. So I am assuming she’s ovulating? Thank you again! Hopefully she produces some fertile eggs unlike last time which resulted in all but one being fertile.

I wanted to ask for your opinion, when she is laying eggs I will be out of town. Is it okay for maternal incubation for 2 weeks until I get back? I have someone watching them to give everyone water and doing small clean up, but they have never handled a snake let alone an angry mom lol. Of course my one vacation this year and it lands on that date

You’d know by a mid to lower 3rd body swelling when she hasn’t eaten in a while and sometimes “tail suck” where it looks like all the meat and fat has been sucked from their tail, its hard to not notice it.

As long as temps stay around 86-88°F and humidity is maintained they should be ok.

Thank you! That baby you commented on my other post was from her. She’s supposedly the (banana/bongo/lesser) I paired her with a banana/bamboo/black pastel/enchi/pastel/pinstripe. lol so a million combos. I’m really excited to see what happens. I’m hoping for a minimum super banana!
I feel you on that one, my first BP pairing last year was a 1.0 Banana Pastel Mystic to what I thought, and told, was just a 0.1 Banana Cinnamon Lesser.
I was expecting and hoping for Super Bananas and ended up getting a surprise Super Pastel instead, the Female proved to be a Banana Pewter Lesser.

god, this is so real lol. last pairing I was like oh i have a 50% chance for a BEL and I lost those odds. With this one having over 200+ possible combos its really rolling the dice on what I can get XD

I am hoping to confirm or learn more. The sire with a million morphs was proven for all of his combos. I can’t wait! I was checking my other females and my BEL I feel very very tiny (possible) follicles so that will be exciting as well.
