I believe this is a carpet python not a burm

A lady on Facebook is advertising this snake as an African rock crossed with a Burmese python. Pretty sure it’s a carpet python. Either way it needs a new home. She’s scared of it and she has dogs barking at it all day and it’s enclosure is not good at all.

Yeah, that’s totally a carpet. No way that’s a rock/burm cross. And that enclosure is…yikes…

Are you gonna take it in?

I want to take it in but it’s in California and I’m in Wisconsin and she don’t know anything about how to ship it. She’s trying to get 600 for her. I’d buy her for sure if I could get it somehow to save her from such a bad home.

I wouldn’t pay a dollar for that snake. It’s going to cost hundreds, if not thousands of dollars to setup a proper enclosure, pay for vet bills, and pay for more vet bills if something is wrong. If you have other reptiles you’re putting them at risk by bringing a snake that could have mites, pathogens, or diseases.

100% a carpet Python, that’s a sad situation. Hopefully somebody picks him up.
