Did they know the pairing? Sometimes leopard pieds can be pretty hard to ID if they are high pattern.

I agree… proving out the extra gene may be the only way to get a definitive answer. Piebald distorts so much.

Looks like a pastel pied to me, but you’d definitely need to prove it to be sure. The higher yellow is a pretty good indication of pastel.
