Interesting pattern on baby gecko?

I hatched this little guy out a few months ago and since hatching it’s always had some interesting markings on it’s head, almost like stripes? I figured they’d go away after a little while and a few sheds but they’re just as visible as they’ve always been a few months later.

Has anyone else hatched something like this or seen another with similar markings? I haven’t been able to find anything about it online or other listings on MorphMarket. Just so curious what this little guys got going on! The morph is a red phantom dalmatian w/red and oil spots.

Looks like your typical baby pattern, hatched a good handful this season with similar pattern - it should go away after a few grams of growth. Worth keeping en eye on though, it would be cool if it stuck for once!

How interesting. I went back and looked closer at their hatch photos and the clutch mate did have some similar markings as well but theirs are completely gone already. This ones are still just as visible as the day it hatched on January 28th.

Oh well! Thought it was something cool. Haha. It’s stuck around for a little while. Guess I’ll just enjoy the sparkly look until it’s gone. :smiling_face_with_tear: I’ve hatched around 25 crested at this point and this was a first to have such a prominent head pattern.
