Just looking for breeding advice

Hey, I know I’ve been making quite a few threads but I have just one more question. I’m going to the NARBC in September aaaand I’ve been looking around for a particular morph to get to breed with my female Black Pastel Huffman, so far here’s my list:

Redstripe combo? Just maybe on that one
Huffman something. I may end up getting a Huffman because Super Huffmans are gorgeous :heart_eyes:
Ghi Mojave or something equally dark, just to keep getting to that “black snake”
Banana Leopard Yb or something near that.
Leopard Spotnose Fire/Cinny, getting something with such a crazy pattern might benefit the Huffman or make something very cool like a Spotnose Huffman Blackpastel?
Acid/Confusion, as if I’ll see one! I wish! Might just have to ‘order’ one, lol.
Chocolate combo? Perhaps
Nr Mandarin IF I can find one and IF I can find one that’s not too outrageous, but their prices are well deserved.
I also though about Surge, Trick, or Adder but we’ll see on those three.

Do any of you guys have experience breeding or own Huffman combos? I really like the morph and think it deserves a bit more hype based on the Super form.

I don’t have any experience with huffman, but you are right it is a underrated morph. I really like sirens and other black pastel complex stuff that with the Huffman make different things. I would try to find something with Huffman in it. Just because you can make supers, which is nice by itself but if you plan on working with this gene it makes breeding, and knowing that Huffman is in your breeding that much faster and easier. That’s my take on it.

I would avoid anything with cinnamon or black pastel given that your female already has black pastel. Avoid the whole kinking/duckbill issue, and potentially having to euthanize some of your babies

Oh, thank you for mentioning that! I forgot! I never ever wanna breed any thing that has potential for deformed babies
