Here are a few snoots captured while they enjoyed the great outdoors and I tried to get some fun pics!

Nice pics of your corns. I would be worried about losing them outside. Boas are too big and a lot slower to escape from me when I take them outside.

Not to worry! @caryl’s husband Dan was standing by with a giant butterfly net waiting to nab any escapees…… :joy:

Thanks! Mine are used to going outside and they seem to enjoy a nice crawl around. Youngsters will sometimes try to get away, but the adults never really do. They just explore peacefully or hang out kind of in the area. The only thing I really worry about is them finding a hole in the ground and disappearing down it. If they’re in the yard, I’m right over them.

This group was pretty interested in the basket and willing to stay put, more or less, for a bit. Although this father and daughter pair did sort of strike out for parts unknown after a while…

Fortunately they did it in a leisurely manner. They were easy to scoop up again.

I think that’s so cool seeing them crawling along the wall! It’s also cool how they stayed together!

Agreed. I am always amazed watching them on the bricks. And it’s interesting that these two are father and daughter. They are total sweethearts. The Butter Stripe (yellow) is Big Smile, the Caramel Ghost Stripe (grey) is her sire Odin. He’s done soooo many educational things over the years.

(They are mom and grandaddy to one of yours, @caron !)

Love those pictures, @caryl! I love watching snakes climb, the way they’re so proficient at it without the benefit of limbs seems almost otherworldly at times.

Here’s a curious boa snoot.
