Looking for a Mentor Rock Hill Area

Looking for a Mentor around the Rock Hill Sc area. I’m looking to get into Ball Pythons. Thank you for reading my post.

My suggestion would be to jump over to the marketplace and use the local search feature to find someone in the area who has a large collection and reach out to them.

Just looking at your picture you don’t look so grumpy! And the little pup :dog: is a cutie! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

If you can’t find anyone nearby, there’s a great online community here that can help you get started and answer any questions

Not sure if I am allowed to say this here so mods feel free to delete if against CGs. There are several NC/SC reptile (rehoming) groups on FB. I’m sure you could connect with someone through one of them.

I am a little to far to mentor in person. 2 hrd drive would be tough to do on a regular basis.
You can get plenty of advice on here, and not leave your house. The only thing you won’t get would be hands on.

Balls are usually very tame, so handling them use isn’t a problem. You could go to pet stores just to handle a few times, them come back here you buy.

What questions, concerns or advice are you looking for?

We cut back on all social media. Might pick it back up. If time allows. We started putting out videos on YouTube for beginners, but then again time stopped it.

BTW, I’m in Davidson, NC (not too far from Rock Hill but not that close either) but I don’t breed or keep Ball Pythons.

If there are any mom and pop pet shops in your area you can always check with them to see if they know if there are any ball python enthusiasts who come in the shop. If so maybe you could figure out a way to connect with them somehow. Just a suggestion……

And even though MM is not a “hands on”community you can still learn a ton about ball pythons here!

Another idea if you use Facebook is to join any ball pythons groups in SC and ask there.
