Watching recent podcasts I gather that the collaborative effort to find the monsoon mutation is looking really close to success. Sounded to me like it was just waiting for confirmation and maybe test development from all the members. RGI’s last podcast even mentioned hoping to be ready by Tinley. Anyone in attendance at the expo have an update?

I am not at Tinley but I have not seen it anyone mention it, and if it had been, I would have have several messages about it. I think it’ll be done hopefully before year end, but it didn’t make their Tinley timeline.

Today’s RGI podcast said 3 out of 200 bad results with latest test candidate. So one theory is they are testing for a very nearby marker and need to keep looking for the causative monsoon gene. Rats. Was hoping a test was almost ready.
