My Collection of Noodles!

She’s epic!! She was produced by my friend, which had a bad luck clutch. She survived but had her defect, so I figured to take her in and keep her! Probably as a pet only, but I’m unsure if the defect is genetic so breeding may be experimental

She was roughly a month old when we got her in august. It’s been months and she’s only just recently letting me take her out without biting  still hisses when we open the bin! She’s been great after she’s out though

Same although mine has gotten a little better hardly hisses now. Which I’m stoked about. It can be a little alarming or discouraging when you’re new to this and the entire time you’re just like, oh man are they ever gonna stop this or are they just gonna chomp me when they’re older!! :joy::joy: the last two times I took him out. It was the best interactions we’ve had! So I’m pumped. I can’t wait to hear more updates on her. And of course the pictures. She’s gorgeous!

It’s my understanding that missing eyes are usually the result of incubation issues rather than being genetic…although I know that certain morphs in certain species do seem to be linked to increased occurrence of various ocular defects. :person_shrugging: Either way, she’s adorable!

Her mom has had 2 bad clutches these last 2 seasons (no problem before!) and any other clutches have been fine from other snakes! So we’re not too sure what is going on, but she’s gonna be a great addition here!!
