I know @caryl works with caramel, so she’d likely be able to help you a bit more than I would. @solarserpents also works with corns.
To me it looks like you possibly have two caramels and a normal.
Oh yes @caryl and or @solarserpents will definitely be able to help you! I love corn snakes! I have an albino named Jelly Bean, aka, little beggar!
Welcome and you will love it here!
Welcome, and welcome to the fascination of breeding corn snakes!
The babies pictured are two Caramels and one Normal, @noodlehaus is correct. More completely, they’re:
2 Caramel het Amel, Anery, Motley, 50% ph Hypo
1 Normal/Classic het Amel, Anery, Caramel, Motley, 50% ph Hypo
Since your male is a Butter Tessera, all babies are het Amel. (Tessera is a dominant trait, so if an animal has it, it appears. It’s not carried as a hidden trait since it’s not recessive.) The Normal is het Caramel from him. Everybody is also het Motley and het Anery from their mother, as well as ph Hypo from her.
Hope that helps. They’re cuties!
Do you breed corn snakes or something? Lol
Does the passion show?
Passion! What PASSION? Lol:joy:
Spot on analysis.
Cute babies! The caramel coloring will start to become more apparent after every shed.
Wow lol thank you! This was very helpful! Much appreciated!!
You’re welcome. We all start somewhere. When you have a chance, we’d live to see the parents, too.
They’re beautiful!
Thank you!
Very lovely creatures! They look like they’re in great condition, too. What are their names?
