General description

Circuit is a pattern disruptor that adds granite type speckling on the sides, a head stamp at the rear of the skull and stripes down the back in certain combos so far with Spotnose, Black Pastel, Fire & Lesser (possibly all BEL complex genes).

In Pied it also extends the busy granite speckling inside the saddles, and has so far created only low white Pieds, I have 4 so far. It is also very reactive in Het Pied animals, where it displays deep Blacks and tighter graniting. Were as non Het animals are much busier with bigger granite markings.

The super has bigger blacks, tighter graniting and a very pronounced boomerang shaped headstamp in the back of the head. I have produced only one so far and it has Het Pied markers. I havent made the super alone without anything else yet.

Appearance - Head

Similar to body, can have a stripe down the back.

Proven

The super has bigger blacks, tighter graniting and a very pronounced boomerang shaped headstamp in the back of the head. I have produced only one so far and it has Het Pied markers. I havent made the super alone without anything else yet.

This will be my 5th year producing this gene. I have 6 clutches from this and a 7th to hatch late summer.

Unique

It makes everything busy ontop of the granite patterns. But most interestingly is its relationship with Pied where it is very reactive in both visual and het pied animals.

History

I got back into snakes in 2020. I used to breed them in the early 2010s. In 2021 I had purchased a collection from a friend that had some animals that I wanted in it. The original animal to the Circuit gene being one of them, a Black Pastel Het Pied Female. This was my 2nd BP het Pied animal but this new one seemed WAY nicer. I had figured it was maybe just a nicer quality animal. I ended up breeding the β€œnicer” Black Pastel Het Pied to a Pied male and ended up with 1.0 Circuit Het Pied and 0.2 Circuit Pieds. The Circuit male instantly drew my attention being the busiest granite like animal I had ever seen. And the two females were busy low white Pieds. Ive raised them up, as well as others that have come after. This is the Circuit Het Pied male’s third season breeding and one of his sister’s first. Everything else has come from the original animal that has bred every year up until this year.

I also have 2 clutches of Circuit Het Pied male to his mother Circuit BP Het Pied female and I have hit the Super. I have 1 Super for sure and there are 2 other possible Supers, but they are debatable with one having heavy Pied Paradoxing and the other could just be what a Circuit BP looks like without Pied markers.
