Frozen right? I have gotten some frozen rodents from Rodent Pro a few times with no issues at all. It’s cheaper to buy in bulk imo. I’m not that crazy about the rodents from Petsmart……
Yes frozen, I probably won’t be buying in bulk because I only have one baby snake at the moment, but I’ll definitely check that out!

He finally chilled out, and fell asleep, I think, thank goodness! I think he realized he wasn’t going to escape, and gave up

So first attempt at feeding time was a fail… might be because he’s new might be because he’s just a picky ball python might be that it wasn’t warm enough might be a number of things, but yeah, he’s not showing signs of being hungry or in feed mode so…

You probably need to give him some “alone” time to let him settle in. If you have handled him a lot he is probably a little stressed.
