Yeah… just another voice to confirm for you:
-Yeah, they can go quite a while with no poop.
-Based on how thick she is up in the first 3rd of the body not just the tail end, yeah, space out her meals some
-If she hasn’t already, she’ll probably go blue and shed soon
I actually did a case recently where one of my girls had the worse gas and bloating I had ever seen personally XD;; She also had a urate stone blocking her cloaca so that was also not helping the situation.
As long as it doesn’t feel like a hard mass near her cloaca and there’s a sausage butt going on, I just assume she’s being a normal BP and waiting for a big BM.
So just an update on my poop situation, though a little late. Our girl pooped the beginning of August and it was a lot! I still don’t know why she was so backed up but regardless I’m happy it happened without vet intervention. Ive also only been feeding her on a 2-week schedule with a weaned rat and her body condition has improved a lot imo. Here’s a pic I took yesterday while out for enrichment/ enclosure deep clean. Thank you
She looks very good, slightly big still by those wrinkles. Maybe she is just big boned? seriously though she is looking close to a normal body composition. I would continue your feeding schedule the way it is for a bit longer.
Thank you! She’s a super pastel highway and is a small girl at only 850g at 3 years old. When I took her on a few months ago she was only 746g. I hope she keeps her coloring because I love the purple on her. Either way she’s a great, sweet girl!
I am so glad you have her @gina5678! Sounds like you are doing a fine job with her as well! At 3 years old I am not sure her colors will change after all these years?
