Orange dream pied or standard pied?

Hi guys this is my friend’s BP tizer. He was sold to her as an orange dream pied but she has also been told on a different forum that he is just a standard pied. Can you please help identify?

I could see merit to both sides. She definitely has a bright coloration, but that can sometimes just happen with pieds. My opinion is that a shed test would be the best way to get an answer on this one if he really wants to know

OK thankyou for your reply

Pied is such a variable gene sometimes and OD can present in some wild amounts of expression. Low white OD Pieds can be pretty tricky because they don’t always present as bright as a high white can.

I’d be inclined to trust the breeder in this case, but for peace of mind a shed test is definitely the most helpful option.

Thankyou, can you explain shed test please as this is the first I am hearing of it

Yeah, you pretty much just wait for your snake to shed. Once you have some shed skin you take a piece that’s clean and about the size of a quarter and then mail it to have the tests run.

Here’s the MorphMarket page for purchasing and info:
