Hi guys this is my friend’s BP tizer. He was sold to her as an orange dream pied but she has also been told on a different forum that he is just a standard pied. Can you please help identify?
I could see merit to both sides. She definitely has a bright coloration, but that can sometimes just happen with pieds. My opinion is that a shed test would be the best way to get an answer on this one if he really wants to know

Pied is such a variable gene sometimes and OD can present in some wild amounts of expression. Low white OD Pieds can be pretty tricky because they don’t always present as bright as a high white can.
I’d be inclined to trust the breeder in this case, but for peace of mind a shed test is definitely the most helpful option.

Yeah, you pretty much just wait for your snake to shed. Once you have some shed skin you take a piece that’s clean and about the size of a quarter and then mail it to have the tests run.
