Our Geckos at T&L Reptiles!

If the white portholes go orange then it’s a Halloween, and tail goes orange fully or black, True halloweens have no white or cream on them at all
If they don’t then it’s a nice dark orange Harley. I used to produce a lot of these x

I believe that’s why the breeder I got her from said 50% True Halloween. Not too sure if this is the correct term?
Our goal is to definitely breed out the portholes and produce true halloweens! This girl was going to be the start of their Halloween line however I think she found another female that would be better suited to a male she has.

Is there any reason you don’t work with the halloweens anymore?

I don’t believe there can be 50% Halloween, they either are or their not.

I agree with the tail being either orange or black, but I believe a Halloween can have white portholes as they are parts of the body that couldn’t form a colour while in the egg.

However I think it depends on who you talk to as to whether portholes are considered or not

I know the breeder, dads a Halloween.
But that’s not correct term no.
You have a dark based harlequin basically. If the white / cream goes all orange then you have a Halloween

I was going to be having one from her but ended up not in the end.

Just the pairing isn’t together basically
And had portholes still same as yours.

Portholes still change colour to an orange :black_heart:

This is very helpful. Thank you both. Have you got photos of the halloweens you used to breed / produce? I’d love to see some nice examples of the morph

Took some photos of Nismo today. I noticed at the base of his tail there’s some highlight yellow dotty type markings, then saw they go up his back in an almost partial pinstripe kind of way. Wasn’t too sure if he’d be classed as a yellow based partial pinstripe super Dalmatian with red spots?
I have a TikTok video here which may show it better : Gorgeous Nismo finally has a video! This little fellow is just like Cherry Bomb and will not sit still! Nismo is a Super Dalmatian with Red Spots ❤️ #crestedgecko #correlophusciliatus #reptile #gecko #lizard #crestie #eyelashgecko #crestedgeckobreeder #reptilebreeder #foryoupage #foryou #fyp

That’s pin dashing. Can be white, cream, yellow etc.

So he’s a harlequin pin dash super Dal.
In the video he seems to have side markings (harlequin).

That’s a shame. Normally it comes up with a website view. Do you both agree that I could make a true Halloween out of her with selective breeding or is that not how it works?

Yeah you could selectively breed for them

Yeah I think it’s possible, but may get a few extra geckos along the way

I am loving the dark Harley, Odyssey is it? I love a dark Crestie. And Nismo is beautiful… my fav :black_heart:

It is Odyssey. She’s my favourite because she’s so sweet and loves her food - one of the only geckos I have that will continuously eat bugs! Agera has a very similar attitude. Nismo is a shy young lad but lately he’s been sleeping out in the open. Can’t wait to see Odyssey and Nismo as adults and see what they develop into! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
