Been trying to figure out if my gecko is ovulating or not. I definitely seen one small pink circle and white dot a couple nights ago. Decided to double check & take pics tonight, but this is way bigger and different shape than the tiny circle I seen two nights ago. Expert opinions if this looks like an ovulation or something else??

How old is she?
It looks like start of an ovulation a bit more towards her ribcage. the spot in the middle there isn’t as trustworthy.
She’s approx 16 months old. Weighed her at 69.4 grams. You just help me realize that could be 2 different spots and not just one with the smaller one being an ovulation. That’s what I seen. But what would the bigger pink area be then; just body mass??
Yeah potentially some buildup to ovulation, but not what you look for.

Yeah good video!! Looked tonight and didn’t see anything.. I’m afraid I waited too late in the “season” to breed. I was waiting for the male to get a little bigger. Is it likely or not a female could still ovulate this late in the year; Or should I expect to wait until next season? She was digging around all summer long, but I didn’t know the tell tell signs ugh. Hoping she’ll ovulate one more time!
There is no specific “breeding season’ for a leopard gecko. Leopard geckos can and will breed your round.
