I need some help so I have a female GHI pastel and she laid eggs but she hasn’t ate in a while and we breed her to a mojave and the eggs didn’t look so good like they had dents so does anyone know what’s going on with her
Most likely either improper calcification or you got to the eggs after they had begun to desiccate. Neither of those things necessarily means the eggs are no good. Did you put them in the incubator anyway? Can you post pictures?
yeah we did put them in the incubator
but it looks like we got one good baby from the egg but out of all of the 4 one survived and they look like they all lived
we cut them open a little bit but they look like they might live we got one baby but the other 3 don’t know yet
How many days were the eggs incubating for? They dent/dimple shortly before they hatch.
they were layed in june 22 and we cutted them today they were dented when she laid them
If you have a picture of the eggs or babies I can give you a little bit better info.
ok i can try to
is it ok if i can send you pictures later on in the day like 3 or 2
Yep, we’re here for you
thank you so much
i need some help so we cutted the eggs but do you knowhow long it takes for the babys to come out of the egg
but there small cuts
It can take 2-3 days for them to absorb their yolk and emerge from the egg. Pictures would give me a lot more information and then I can be more helpful.
ok i can but i would need to let me phone charge
and thank you so much
so do you need picture now cause my phone is charged
sadly my dad won’t let me but they look like eggs just dents in them
Did they pip or did you cut them before any pipped?
