I wouldn’t say I see mine as a commodity, they’re all still very much pets to me — I give them each a name and learn their personalities and mannerisms — some are bold and curious, some are shy, some are a little more defensive, and some seem to think every time I open their tub it’s feeding time :joy:

But that’s just me, I can see maybe other breeders end up changing their views to be less “pet” and more, as you called it, a “commodity”
