I have this young male Red Zeppelin. He throat seams to fill with air when you first get him out. After a few minutes it goes away . It is soft to the touch . He is very active and eats and drinks great. He doesn’t seem to have any respiratory issues. I feed him in a container with a paper towel so it’s not from ingested substrate. So I have no idea why this is happening. Thanks . Jason
I have a couple that get ‘pouchy’ when they’re in blue. Not sure of the exact cause, but it goes away after a shed. Does yours do it all the time when you get him out?
Those temps are all right, about spot on although the cool side could be a few degrees cooler, say around 75°F. I’m assuming you’re measuring down in the substrate.
I was asking about temps because when they’ve got any sort of issue, it’s important to be sure that they’ve got a warm spot around 85-86°F. It’s helpful for healing.
