Rough green snakes

I’ve recently acquired a groups of four adults. All in fantastic health for WC
1 male 3 unsexed.

Happy with the habitat and feeding etc.

Interested to here from anyone lucky enough to have bred these, of just kept them successfully in general.

I’m in the UK

Thanks in advance

Congratulations! I used to love watching and catching green snakes on our property in southern Indiana. They’re wonderful little creatures. I don’t have any actual advice on their husbandry, but I very much wanted to wish you the best of luck with them.

PS - we love pictures. hint, hint! Lol

Welcome Karl H!

It’s always great to see people joining in from so far away! I have no experience with rough green snakes but they are quite beautiful! As @caryl mentioned, pics are always appreciated and welcome! I don’t remember seeing anyone posting rough green snakes here so this is going to be a treat!

Treat them like most North American colubrids. Cool them for 2-3 months at 10-12* C. Bring them back up to temp, pair them up, and feed them aggressively. I’ve not bred them myself but I’ve spoken to people who have. They’re not particularly difficult to breed.
