Royal python breeding/Water bowl?

So I was wondering if the bowl I use would affect my royal from cooling, she wrapped it the other day but hasn’t since. I understand they don’t all the time but I’ve been told it pretty frequent.

I use this bowl X-Large but a lot of people use dog bowls, I was just wondering on people opinions on this?

For my breeding females I try to use ceramic, metal, or glass bowls to give them that cooling option. That said, plenty of mine also just climb straight in the bowl.

I use plastic bowls for all my snakes. I honestly don’t think that dish is going to cause you an issue.
