It looks like my girl is in the process of going to shed, but her eyes are not in blue. Does this happen at the beginning of the shedding process or later?

She would have already gone through the “blue” phase if she’s shedding now.

It looks like it might be a bad shed. You might want to increase humidity or add a humid hide.
she has a humid sphagnum moss hide, and she spends time in it. It is usually around 65% humidity in there.
There eyes will go clear a day to a day and a half before they shed also. This is a good indicator there ready to go.
