Candled my first garg egg and got a lil heart.. Could also see an eyeball forming (i assume?) Altho it doesnt show up well in the pic. This is an elyzium and anthrax pairing. I habe elyzium, obvs. My friend has anthrax.

Im seriously considering buying anthrax from my friend.

Tried to take mother daughter pictires of elyzium and irish coffee… jumpy gecks are jumpy. No they dont live together, they have their own bins, i just wanted to take size comparison shots. They didnt turn out great. Irish looks as big as her mom in some of these and shes not yet.

Also got another set of eggs from elyzium. One is a dud. The other looks really good. Shes laying about once a month.

Beautiful!! They remind me of one of my gargoyle’s

This is Ally and Banana! Banana is sitting on a fossil that a friend of mine (who is a paleontologist) brought over! Although both of these girls are fired down in these photos!

Me too!!! She also has a really calm and docile temperament and personality. When I hold her she either likes to chill on my shoulder, or rest on the back of my neck with my hair covering her like a little cave. She will chill there for a long time and sometimes will even fall asleep, :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

She’s my only gecko who will do that. I have a few cresties that will chill as well, but not as much as she does! And I don’t have any gargoyle’s that will do that either!

Absolutely gorgeous geckos!!!

Ok guys, I have a question for everyone! One of my gargoyles I paired with one of my males about 2 months ago. This was her first pairing, so of course, I don’t expect perfection from her . However, she’s been carrying those eggs for too long, I’m starting to get nervous. She isn’t showing any other signs of being egg bound, so I honestly am unsure on what to do. Thoughts on what might be happening???

I don’t know gargoyles but throwing a question or anyway.

Is she in bio-active enclosure or does she have anywhere specific to lay the eggs. Only asking as my Cresties dig DEEP with their eggs

She has an egg laying box yep!

Do you use substrate in the bottom? My cresties never used the egg-laying box and instead just laid eggs in the substrate.

No I use paper towels. I switch my geckos to a more quiet habitat with paper towels as substrate, an egg laying box, and some leaves and hiding spots, about a week or 2 before they are going to be due to laying.

Again, I don’t own gargoyle geckos, but I know if I switched my Cresties to a different enclosure a few weeks before issuing they would be very stressed out.

Maybe the change might of caused her to hang on a little longer?

Is she definitely carrying them?
