So cute! I love tegus. They’re little scale puppies. Don’t got any of my own, but my buddy a couple hours west of me let’s me hang out with his and feed em a bit whenever I come visit his facility. He’s got two black and whites and one red. The black and whites are more chill, but I much prefer the reds when it comes to personality.

They really are! There’s a couple adult tegus where I work and the b&w is literally so sweet, if you sit on the floor he’ll curl up in your lap and fall asleep. The red is so funny though, you’ll get him out and he’ll just turn around and walk back into his enclosure lol
