Oh yeah! Lenore has won your heart dearie! That’s fabulous! I love it! Ya just gotta love the gentle puppy dog boas! :sunglasses:

Now the only thing , Jennifer, is that in a few years she’ll be wrapped around your neck and or waist and or your wrist as well! Cause she gonna grow!

I’m so glad you found each other! @indiflare I’m hoping :pray:you will have a boa just like Lenore some day!

Edit to add: Her tail is simply gorgeous! As we as the rest of her! Ya did good Jennifer! :+1:. Community mom approved boa! :older_woman:

I’m totally and completely in love with her! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: She’s the first snake I’ve had that’s wearable. Can’t wait until she’s big enough to be both a belt and a halter top.

Which is not to say that I love my other girls any less. I love that I now have a fossorial, a terrestrial, and a (semi) arboreal. I’ve got a nice little collection of ecological niches going on.

Yup! You have a nice assortment! When my boas were tiny babies they wrapped around my glasses and around my pony tail! Then they grew up and accidentally became parents!

It’s like Lenore has always been there, right? I say yes! :+1::pray:

Be careful when they are big when you’re wearing her as a belt or halter top. I had one of my 30 lbs boas almost de pants me at a reptile educational show in front of a lot of people. :face_with_peeking_eye: The little kids laughed there butt off over it.

The boa was around my waist and slipped his tail in my pants in the back and started to push down as he was trying to go down and around my leg.

I keeped calm and also laughed as I pulled him out of my pants.

Oh my gosh, that’s hilarious!:rofl:

They’re super strong snakes, I guess it’s not surprising one could pull your pants down. Especially at that weight. :joy:

I kinda got a mental picture of this “occasion” and I have to say I got a chuckle out of it! Hilarious! Most definitely a big 10 4 on that Tom! :joy:

Less than 24 hours in her new enclosure and she’s already climbing things that shouldn’t be climbable (it’s the center support for the PVC enclosure if anyone is wondering). It’s smooth and safe, I just didn’t think she’d be able to climb it like this lol

The young veiled chameleon at the pet store today gave me some serious side eye for taking his photo

That’s so cool! I’m tagging @jawramik to see the height of this beautiful enclosure!

Jennifer here is an example of a tall enclosure……

The danger of taking me into a pet store is that I want to take EVERYTHING home :sob: :sob: :sob:

I had a ball python go up my shirt in front of a bunch of kids lol. Which wouldn’t be a big deal, but I’m a girl, and I had to work pretty hard to get her out of there :joy:

It’s the betta fish floating limply in the tiny cups that get me :sob: :sob: :sob: :sob: :sob:

Oops I forgot about them and they are the first thing you see. Their water was supposed to be changed every day, if there was time…… when I worked there.

And the change water was supposed to come from the fish tanks along the wall. But I didn’t find that out until way later, after I was given the little bottle of water conditioning drops. And then there was the matter of feeding instructions……

Same here! But not in front of kids, just family. In fact that’s one of Beans’s favorite spots! When he was just a little one he would use any sports bras I had as a hammock which wasn’t the most comfortable for me but it sure was cute.

The petco near me would have food sitting on the lids with a little hole on the top for air and so that the kids could push the food in and feed the betta… Always saw it as strange and it risked the betta skipping their meal if not liked by any of the kids enough to get picked up and fed…
