We do what we must because we love them. :joy:

Honestly none of my current snakes really make a habit of using their water dishes as a toilet (yet). In fact, they’re often courteous enough to bag up their poop for me inside their sheds. Such thoughtful girls.

The beardie I had as a kid frequently pooped in his water bowl, though, so I’m definitely no stranger to that frustration.

:joy:. It took me a minute but yes I do see it! It kinda looks like a Jack O Lantern!

It does kinda look like a jack-o’-lantern!

I see it! She’s got all kinds of cool little designs between her saddles. Part of me is almost kinda sad that she’s likely to lose most (or all) of those quirky little markings as the IMG takes over.

@logar, Neptune is indeed adorable.

Here’s a silly one. Our girl Wednesday sizing up my husband and realizing she’s taller than him. Him not realizing that snakes eat people in their sleep :rofl:

That’s a really cute picture Gina! You guys made a really nice looking couple! And that “people eating snake” is really great as well! :sunglasses::+1:

Thank you for the kind words Caron! Some people call us The Odd Couple lol.

Well I think you both look very happy with each other and there is definitely nothing odd about that! I think he is quite handsome myself and of course you are lovely as well!

It’s so nice to see couples together and smiling! It makes my heart very happy!:blush:

Beans is obsessed with his stick-pillow! Recently it seemed to have been moved to the opening of his warm hide…
Coincidence? Maybe… :smirk: :joy:

Amen to that one! Y’all look great, @gina5678 , including the human-sizing snake.

Aww, you both are so sweet! It’s a huge improvement for my husband to be comfortable and smiling around our snakes now, considering his hands were trembling terribly when I talked him into letting me get our first family pet snake. It’s wasn’t a big retic, not a ball python. It was a KSB  I wish I would have taken a picture of that moment when he let me place this little fishing-worm-looking snake in his hands for the first time lol

Awwwww! It sounds like he has come a long way! Wish my husband would hold one of my snakes! He despises them! That’s why they are all in my room! :joy:

I’m going to have the opposite issue :joy: I’m a bit of a type A control freak and my bf is going to want to get my snakes out without supervision :joy: (he’s a very responsible adult, I am just a VERY nervous nelly :joy:)

This isn’t a reptile picture by any stretch of the imagination, but I wanted to share it with you guys, and it’s silly, so this seems as good a place as any.

I told one of my coworkers that when I was a teenager, I used to be able to fold teeny tiny paper cranes. She challenged me to see if I could still do it and made me a miniscule square of paper to work with (this piece of paper was roughly the width of one of the lines on a college ruled piece of lined paper, for reference). I still got it!

WOW! It’s so small!

That is extremely impressive! I still have the first paper crane I have ever been given hanging on my wall. It’s been there for years.
